Packet-on-demand vs. bandwidth-on-demand capabilities will be addressed with respect to Internet and other applications. Alternate broadband access technologies, such as xDSL, cable modem, fiber-to-the-home, satellite, etc. will be compared to wireless in terms of cost, time to service, performance, and other key characteristics.
