Andrew Kreig is president and chief
executive officer of the Wireless Cable Association International (WCA), which represents
companies providing wireless broadband services over a fixed terrestrial platform. The
services include multichannel television programming, high-speed Internet access,
telephony, and other interactive services.
He joined the association as its
vice president in 1993, and has overseen a 50 percent rise in membership since he was
names president in 1997. An attorney active in Washington D.C. public affairs, he is
listed in such reference books as Whos Who In the World, Whos Who in
Finance and Industry and Whos Who in America. He is a frequent
commentator on communications issues worldwide, having lectured on five continents about
wireless technologies. He holds degrees from Yale Law School and the University of Chicago
