| As director of mobile data services, Herbert Williams works to develop and expand Spyglass' presence in the mobile data market. Williams joined Spyglass in September 1999 with more than 10 years of market and product development experience in the wireless telecommunications industry. His key responsibilities at Spyglass include market and competitive analysis, strategic planning and managing key partnerships and relationships within the mobile data market. Williams came to Spyglass from EDS (Electronic Data Systems), where for the more than four years he held a variety of positions within their Communications Industry Group, most recently as director of wireless industry development. Williams was a strategic member of EDS' management team, having been director of sales, director of account management and acting as a key player in a number of marketing and new product development projects. Prior to EDS, Williams worked in the telecommunications industry with AT&T and Sprint. Throughout his career, Williams was able to leverage his expertise in the wireless industry by producing several articles and white papers for publication. Williams holds a mathematics and economics degree from St. Lawrence University in NY, and a Master's degree in business administration from Boston University. He currently resides in the Boston area with his wife and family. |
