Mr. Hoeber has contributed to the design, development and manufacture of spacecraft and related spaceborne communications systems over his 30+ year career.

Present - Senior Vice President - Business Development and Strategy

Mr. Hoeber is responsible for product and spacecraft business development including strategic analysis and strategic planning for the company.

Previous Positions

In his previous position as Chief Engineer, Mr. Hoeber was responsible for the application of technology in support of strategic corporate objectives. With the explosion of demand for bandwidth and the use of satellites for Internet applications, this has led in recent years to many new service categories and new satellite payload architectures in place of the bent pipe architecture that has been the basis for communication satellites since the early 1960’s. Mr. Hoeber began his career as a Systems Engineer testing the first generation of domestic communication satellites, and has held a number of Systems Engineering, Program Management and Engineering & Manufacturing responsibilities at Hughes, Ford Aerospace, and Loral.
