Steve Cable Vice President ViaSat, Inc.

Stephen W. Cable has served as Vice President and General Manager - Broadband Systems of ViaSat since September 2000 and as Vice President - Strategic Development from October 1998 to September 2000. In these roles, he is responsible for establishing and implementing ViaSat’s strategy for developing the broadband, interactive satellite communications market. Prior to joining ViaSat, Mr. Cable held a variety of executive management and engineering roles with Rockwell International Corporation s Collins Communication Systems Division from 1977 to October 1998. He has over 25 years experience in wireless communications with over 15 years experience in satellite communications systems. Mr. Cable holds B.S.E.E. and M.E.E. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Rice University.
