Mr. Baugh is frequently quoted in various industry and news publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, Business Week, Wired News, Telephony, Communications Week International, CNNfn, Tele.com, Internet World, Satellite Communications, Forbes, Interactive Week, Upstart, Satellite Today, Mobile Satellite News, Space News and CBS Marketwatch. Before forming Northern Sky Research, Mr. Baugh served as Senior Analyst for Pioneer Consulting. While at Pioneer, he authored "Satellite Mediacasting: A New Model for the Internet" and "Next Generation Broadband Satellite Networks," two of the most successful market research reports ever written by Pioneer Consulting. Prior to Pioneer, Mr. Baugh was an International Trade Specialist and Economist for the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, DC. Mr. Baugh also has extensive legislative and analytical experience from his work for the Committee on International Relations and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, both in the U.S. House of Representatives.
