Dick Bakker Vice President SpaceBridge Semiconductor

Dick Bakker has 20 years of experience in Satellite Communications, Internetworking Systems and International Trade Consulting. In the mid 80's, as National Sales Manager at Telesat Canada, he was involved in the rollout of some of the first VSAT services across Canada. Later in the mid 90's, Mr. Bakker spent 5 years with Cisco Systems, working closely with several emerging Internet Service Providers as they implemented new router based infrastructure. Most recently he was Vice President of Sales for Coventus, a firm that provided Broadband Internet Access in hotels, as well as IP based profiling and personalization services for travelling business executives. Presently Mr. Bakker is Vice President of Sales for SpaceBridge Semiconductor Corporation, responsible for their world wide sales activities.

Mr. Bakker graduated from Queen's University with a Masters in Business Administration, as well as a BA in Political Studies.
