David Garrison is a Chairman
of Verestar, subsidiary of NYSE ATC Corporation, a leading provider of Internet, voice and
data space transmission services between North America and the world. He is also a member
of the Board of Directors of Ameritrade, a NASDAQ listed leader in on-line securities
trading and its subsidiary OnMoney, a leading financial portal.
He is former Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of Netcom OnLine Communications, which was sold to ICG Communications, and before
that served as President of Skytel Communications. He has been recognized in press
coverage as a “pioneer” in the Internet and has been a featured speaker at
industry meetings in the Internet, wireless, and broadcast businesses. He has been
involved as a principal in successful offerings of over $1bb in private and public, equity
and debt securities.
He holds a BS in Accounting from Syracuse
University and MBA from Harvard Business School.
