Thom F. Degnan is Senior Vice
President, Business Development for Cidera, Inc and is responsible for mergers and
acquisitions, joint ventures, and the development of global strategic alliances and
partnerships for the Company. Previously, Mr. Degnan was Vice President, Wireless Carrier
Investments for QUALCOMM with responsibility for the development of wireless
communications ventures in the international marketplace. He also served as Vice
President, International Sales, QUALCOMM Infrastructure Division, and Vice President Sales
and Marketing for the QuSAT Division. Prior to that Mr. Degnan was Vice President Europe,
Network Systems Group for Scientific-Atlanta based in Paris, France. He has also served at
Director, Sales for M/A-COM Linkabit, and Vice President and Controller for Geosource/SBS
Communications. Mr. Degnan holds a B.S. in Marketing from Connecticut State University and
an M.B.A. in International Business and Finance from the University of New Haven. Mr.
Degnan is a frequent speaker at communications conferences around the globe.
