Keynote Address: Mike Cook Paul Gaske is known as a visionary in the industry, as well as an experienced and well-known speaker who can address the future opportunities for satellite technology, both within Hughes Network Systems and industry-wide. The future will be exciting for satellite technology, as it is the middle of a revolution. Most people know what is happening in data communications and hear everyday about cable modems and DSL, the new wireless technologies, the 'mobile Internet'. But, all these technologies are creating a world of haves and have nots. Broadband access is available only in small geographical pockets--- therefore these terrestrial technologies will never be ubiquitously available. This why broadband satellite services will succeed and the satellite industry is poised for spectacular growth. Main Conference
