Michael Storey is President & CEO of Inmarsat, a leading global communications company that delivers high quality, highly reliable data and voice communications services to maritime, land mobile and aeronautical markets worldwide.

In 1994, Michael Storey was a founding member of MFS International and served as its President and CEO in Europe. Following the acquisition by WorldCom of MFS in 1996, he continued as President and CEO of the merged company. When MCI and WorldCom merged in 1997, Mr. Storey became Executive Vice President of MCI WorldCom in Europe.

From 1982 to 1994, Mr. Storey was an entrepreneur deeply involved in the development of the cable television and telecommunications industries in the UK. He is a past Chairman of the UK Cable Television Association and its Telecommunications Committee, and a founder shareholder of City Centre Communications.

Prior to this, he worked as a management consultant with Booz Allen and Hamilton from 1968 to 1982.

Mr. Storey has an MBA from the University of Chicago.
