David Finkelstein
General Manager - USA
David Finkelstein is in charge of US operations for UDcast, a French software company enabling native IP over satellite links. Before UDcast he was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development with SkyBridge, the Alcatel-led project to provide high-speed internet services with a constellation of Low-Earth Orbit satellites. Mr. Finkelstein spent 6 years in the international division of British Telecom ("BT"), where, as Director of Business Development for BT Europe, he was responsible for establishing a number of international joint ventures to compete in the global telecommunications markets. While at BT, he also held several senior sales and marketing management positions at the European and country operations levels. Before joining BT, Mr. Finkelstein held various senior sales and marketing positions in the computer hardware and services industry, in both Europe and the United States. He has also worked as a management consultant with Touche Ross & Co. in New York. Mr. Finkelstein received a B.S. Degree in Economics and Computer Sciences from the University of California at Los Angeles, and an MBA from Stanford University.
