Mr. Ranjan spent
several years at Intel, leading standardization efforts in the broadband arena. Mr. Ranjan
spearheaded an industry wide effort to make broadband easier to deploy. Mr. Ranjan has
been recognized by Cablelabs for his efforts in defining the standard for USB-based DOCSIS
cable modems. While at Liberate Technologies, Mr. Ranjan made significant contributions to
the advancement of Interactive TV technology and the definition of next-generation set top
boxes. Mr. Ranjan has also been actively involved in the DVB-MHP standard.
