October 26, 2001 SAN DIEGO, CA: The desire for an improved Internet experience for consumers and the need for enterprises to connect increasingly mobile and remote employees, partners and customers, has created new opportunities for satellite-based Internet applications. SATELLITE INTERNET SERVICES & APPLICATIONS 2001, December 5-7, will look at how satellite technologies can address some of the growing challenges of the Internet, including bottlenecks, delivery and distribution of media-rich content, and IP Multicasting.
