Bob Pye is Senior Vice President of Telemac Corporation and has been involved with the prepaid cellular industry since its inception. First as President and CEO of The Cellular Hotline, next as Senior Vice President of Shared Technologies and, mot recently, Senior Vice President of Telemac Corporation. Bob was responsible for creating the first US national activation network with over 1,100 carrier agreements. At Shared Technologies he helped assemble the 1st US national reseller network using 800MHz carriers, currently used by MCI WorldCom in their nation prepaid wireless offering. Telemac Corporation is the leading developer of switch independent, handset-based prepaid wireless technology and other billing solutions. Telemac Technology TM is a complete real-time billing system supporting all digital and analog formats. The system includes patented IMA-Modules TM, which reside in the handset and patented DAS TM software licensed to wireless service providers. In the United States, Telemac prepaid services are offered by local carriers, and nationally by Shared Technologies Cellular Inc. under its marketing venture with MCI WorldCom. BT Cellnet's prepaid program in the U.K. utilizing Telemac's technology is one of the most successful launches of a wireless program in the history of the United Kingdom. InterVoice-Brite Inc. offers the BriteStar System TM, a fully integrated turnkey prepaid program, featuring Telemac Prepaid Technology.
