Mr. Patten is Senior Vice
President and in this role he leads Loral CyberStar's global marketing activities for
delivery of multicast, IP-broadband and managed network services to Internet Service
Provider and enterprise customers. He is responsible for CyberStar's marketing activities,
including product development, network planning and marketing communications. Mr. Patten
joined CyberStar in March, 1999, with more than 17 years of progressive domestic and
international sales and marketing experience in the telecommunications industry.
Prior to joining CyberStar, Mr. Patten was
Director of Sales for multinational accounts at Iridium, LLC, and Vice President and
General Manager of Sales for WinStar Communications, Inc.
Before joining Winstar, Mr. Patten spent 14
years with MCI Telecommunications in various senior executive positions including Director
of Global Ventures; Director of Global Customer Service for CONCERT Communications;
General Manager of Sales and Marketing for CLEAR Communications in New Zealand; Director
of Advertising and Director of Marketing for the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Mr. Patten has a Bachelor of Science degree
from Ithaca College and Master of Business Administration from Boston University.
