Dr.
Abdelsalam Heddaya has more than 13 years of research experience that is directly related
to InfoLibria's caching, prefetching, and replication technologies. Prior to joining
InfoLibria, Dr. Heddaya was an associate professor at Boston University. He was a
collaborator in the research and development of the patent-pending technology that is
being commercialized by InfoLibria.
Dr. Heddaya has his Ph.D. in computer science from
Harvard University, and a B.S. degree in computer engineering with first class honors from
Alexandria University, Egypt. Dr. Heddaya has served on the program committees of the 10th
IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems, and the 2nd IEEE
International Symposium on Computers and Communications. He has given numerous invited
talks both in industrial and academic settings, and has co-authored a book entitled
"Replication Techniques in Distributed Systems" (Kluwer, 1996).
