Satellites and the Internet in Puberty

As our industry struggles to reach maturity, some pieces are well developed while others still have some growing to do. For example, satellites are capable of handling greater volumes of data and transmitting them at greater speeds than ever before, but our ability to manage large-scale customer installations is still in its infancy? Or, what about rapid adaptation of existing services to meet unique customer demands – can we do it in "Internet time"? This will be a candid discussion of how our industry is doing and what it may look like when it is all grown up.
