As a TRW Technical Specialist in
Digital Communications for the Satellite Communications Directorate, he is responsible for
digital processing architectures and implementations for commercial and military satellite
communications payloads. He has contributed to TRW's architecture for the Ka-band
multimedia satellite networks with particular emphasis on advanced technology and
algorithms for demodulation, decoding and on-board packet routing. He is Secretary of the
IEEE Satellite and Space Communications (SSC) Technical Committee and a member of the
steering subcommittee for the AIAA Technical Committee on Communications Systems (TCCS).
He holds Ph.D. and MS degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Southern
California and a BS in engineering from Harvey Mudd College. |
