David Shiff Vice President

| David Shiff is Vice President of Sales and Marketing
for Spacenet Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Gilat Satellite Networks. Prior to joining
Spacenet, Mr. Shiff spent 15 years with Hughes Network Systems, a division of Hughes
Electronics. During his tenure at Hughes, Mr. Shiff held a succession of business
development, sales, and sales management positions with the company. For the last two
years he served as Assistant Vice President, North American Sales, for the Satellite
Networks Division of HNS, where he was responsible for directing and managing all aspects
of sales for the company’s VSAT and related products and services in the North
American market. Mr. Shiff began his career in Special and Government Marketing at
Satellite Business Systems, a partnership of IBM, Comsat, and Aetna, which pioneered
Ku-Band satellite communications for the enterprise market. Following his time at SBS and
immediately prior to joining Hughes, Mr. Shiff served as National Marketing Manager for a
start-up company involved in the provision of digital video teleconference systems. Mr.
Shiff holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. |
