| Burt H. Liebowitz is President and COO of NetSat
Express, a company that specializes in providing Internet access over satellite. He was
previously Chief Technical Officer at Loral Orion, where he was responsible for the
development of satellite-based Internet access products. Prior to Loral
Orion, Mr. Liebowitz was Principal Engineer at the Mitre Corporation, where he consulted
for the FAA on highly reliable, air traffic control systems. Prior to that he was
President of the Sombers Group and Senior Vice President at Contel Corporation. Mr.
Liebowitz holds two patents on satellite-based TDMA meshed networking systems, has
co-authored two books on distributed processing, and has written several articles on
computing and communications. |
