| Michael Liebhold is a founding officer of Tachyon, Inc.
Tachyon has developed a system that will provide a two-way connection via KuBand
satellites from an end user's premises directly to the Internet at higher than T1 speeds.
Previously, Mr. Liebhold, was a founding member of Netscape Communications Strategic
Investors' Advisory Board and then lead development Netscape's Inbox-Direct HTML e-mail
service and other fundamental Netcenter services. From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Liebhold was Vice
President, Chief Technology Officer for Times Mirror Company, where he defined long-term
technology and business strategies for 20 Times Mirror operating companies. For ten years
prior, Mr. Liebhold was Senior Scientist, Broadband Media Architectures Research for Apple
Computer, researching and developing technology, applications and strategic partnerships
for high speed communications and digital interactive media services. Mr. Liebhold also
held positions as Director for the Strategic Systems Research Laboratory at the Atari
division of Warner Communications, and various management positions with CBS, Warner
Communications, and Pacific Telephone and Telegraph. Tachyon, Inc. is an
Internet company that has developed a system that will provide a two-way connection from
an end user's premises directly to the Internet via KuBand Satellites. The company
recently secured $30 million in equity investments. Tachyon will offer commercial services
in the U.S., Mexico and Europe in the second quarter of 1999, and by June 2001 the
company's reach will be global. Tachyon founders include Dr. John Koehler, Tachyon's CEO,
formerly CEO of Hughes Space and Communications, and Nicholas Negroponte, Director of the
