Dr. Sri NathanVice President, Network Architecture |

| Dr. Sri Nathan is Vice President of Network Architecture for Qtera, with
primary responsibility for defining the long term architecture of Qteras next
generation photonic networking systems. Sri brings to Qtera 15 years experience in
telecommunications network planning and engineering, with particular expertise in long
haul networks. He worked with MCI/WorldCom before joining Qteras team based in
Richardson, Texas. As Senior Manager of Strategic Network Design at MCI, Sri conducted
economic modeling for MCIs data, switch, transport and optical networks. He
orchestrated MCIs near term strategy to support data traffic through ATM and IP
networks, and designed MCIs crossconnect based and ring based restoration networks.
Sri also held various system engineering and network planning positions with Nortel
Networks development arm (formerly Bell Northern Research). Sri earned his Ph.D. in Management and Administrative Science and an advanced degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas. He has a B.S. in Engineering from Madras University (India). He holds six patents and has seven pending patents on crossconnect and optical technology applications. Sri has received numerous awards for his achievements in network planning. |
