Shannon Hansen is currently a Manager in Product Marketing for Cisco Systems with over 13 years of experience in developing services and technologies for local and long distance telecommunication providers. In her current position, Ms. Hansen has product marketing responsibilities for Cisco's Wavelength RouterTM. Prior to joining Cisco Systems through the acquisition of Monterey Networks, Ms. Hansen was a Senior Manager for MCI WorldCom with marketing responsibilities for their frame relay service offering. Previously, Ms. Hansen was a Member of Technical Staff for Telecordia Technologies where she developed generic requirement specifications in the areas of broadband data services, network management, and usage measurement functionality. Ms. Hansen holds a M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Columbia University and a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
