i feel as though i’m good enough on a snowboard to maybe get a little sponsorship opportunities. I dont know how to though. I’ve heard sometimes they will see you at a contest, and if you win, they will come up to you and ask if you’ll be part of their team…Is that true? also do you HAVE to win the contest to get sponsored. These arnt very big contests that im talking about. their for ages 13 and up or something like that for anyone to enter. If i enter one next year… do i have a chance of getting sponsored if im good????

if you throw down a crazy run basically anytime they will at least notice you and know who you are. also, make a video and send it in to some places. start small though, try with your local board shop if you have one. if you get on that team you will be in more comps. then more companies will notice you

In a nut shell, NO. If you are asking on Y/A how to get sponsered, you do not have what it takes to get there.
Now if you are young, id say around 13 or so, then maybe you have a chance, otherwise just forget it and focus on your schooling.

well known at your mountain and ski hills around
win comps,
and u gota know people.
13 is young but if you got those things u have a chance.
Win contests.
If you’re good, you will get noticed.
Go ride at the bigger resorts.
